New to Casio's Exilim point-and-shoot line is the 16.1-megapixel EX-H30. What's unique about this camera is its improved, energy-saving, rechargeable lithium battery that allows for 1,000 photos to be taken on a single battery charge. This is nearly twice as many photos as other comparable Casio compact zoom cameras, which offer approximately 580 shots per charge.

The H30 has a 24mm, ultra wide-angle lens with 12.5x optical zoom. Users can also shoot in single-frame SR zoom to achieve 18.8x telephoto optical zoom. With the ultrawide-angle view, this model also features slide panoramic mode, which automatically recognize moving subjects and stitches them together.

Additional features include 720p high-definition video recording with continuous autofocus. While recording video, users still utilize the cameras full optical zoom.

The Casio EX-H30 is available in four colors, including sliver, black, red, and gold for $249.
