Nexto has introduced an updated line of portable storage devices, the NVS2500 Video Storage (VS) Pro.
The VS Pro is an extremely fast backup device that can store hundreds of hours of raw HD footage directly from hard-drive camcorders on a Sony SxS, or standard memory card. The VS Pro also allows users to simultaneously back up to multiple drives.
A 2.4-inch color LCD screen allows users to preview their footage. The free-fall sensor automatically locks data on the hard drive the second the camera is dropped to prevent any lost footage.
The VS Pro is available in 160GB, 250GB, 320GB or 500GB. The prices for each are to be announced.
