Panoramic photographer Everen T. Brown has created the 360° World Atlas, an interactive multimedia DVD software set that lets virtual travelers experience the world from their desktops.

Starting with an interactive map of the world, virtual travelers can click on a continent, select a country and then select a specially profiled location. Once at that location, the virtual tour presents an interactive, revolving 360° virtual-reality image.

The 360° World Atlas grew out of Brown's travels around the world with his Globuscope, a specially designed panoramic camera developed by the Globus Brothers. It features more than 1,200 virtual tours, maps of every country and travel information. $69.95.
