Casio has unveiled five new Exilim models, one featuring high-speed shooting and four others with improved design quality and functionality.

The 6-megapixel, 12x optical zoom Exilim Pro EX-F1 features a high-speed CMOS sensor and LSI processor to achieve up to a 60-frame-per-second burst rate for still images and a 1,200-frame-per-second rate for movie recording. The Pro EX-F1 also records movies in high definition.

The 10.1-megapixel Exilim Card EX-S10 offers a slim form with a 3.71-inch-wide, 2.15-inch-high, 0.59-inch-thick body. The camera also features a 3x optical zoom lens and a 2.7-inch-wide Super Clear LCD screen. The camera employs iTunes-compatible H.264 video capability, which comes standard.

The Exilim Zoom EX-Z80 also features a compact design in six different colors. A 3x optical zoom lens, an 8.1-megapixel resolution and the Exilim Engine 2.0 image-processing module allow for picture taking with low noise. An Auto Shutter function and motion detection technologies track subject movement.

Two new 10.1-megapixel cameras, the Exilim Zoom EX-Z200 and EX-Z100, both offer a 4x optical zoom lens that can shoot as wide as 28mm. Both incorporate automatic scene differentiation and allow the shutter to be released automatically. The EX-Z200 offers a CCD shift antishake function that compensates for blur. Each EX-Z-series camera also offers a 2.7-inch LCD display, an Auto Shutter function and a scene-analyzing function. The minimum advertised price for the EX-F1 is $999; the EX-S10 is $249; the EX-Z80 is $199; the EX-Z200 is $299; and the EX-Z100 is $279.
