Double Exposure Photo Auction Raises $100,000

At its 13th annual Doublexposure event, Seattle’s Youth in Focus (YIF) raised $100,000 to support the photographic education of inner-city youths aged 13 to 19. The proceeds came from ticket sales as well as the auction of 43 photographs.

Samsung has introduced the NX series of hybrid cameras, which offer the quality of a DSLR and the portability of a point-and-shoot camera.

Nikon has introduced the new D5000, a digital SLR camera with 12.3-megapixel resolution, 19 auto-exposure modes and a large, 2.7-inch Vari-angle color LCD screen.
