Samsung has introduced the NX series of hybrid cameras, which offer the quality of a DSLR and the portability of a point-and-shoot camera.

Three Samsung Camera's Join NV-Series

Samsung has released three new digital cameras to be added to the advanced point-and-shoot NV series. The NV8, NV15 and NV20 all feature the Smart Touch user interface and premium Schneider optics with 3X optical zooms.The NV8 has 8 megapixels, while the NV15 is 10 megapixels and the NV20 is 12 megapixels. All three of the cameras have a 2.5-inch LCD screen that is controlled by sliding a finger across the monitor to select control buttons.

Samsung Launches 8MP Digimax Pro815

Samsung has released its 8-megapixel Digimax Pro815, featuring a larger LCD and 15x longer optical zoom.

With a 2/3-inch CCD sensor and f/2.2-4.6 Schneider 7.2-108mm lens (equivalent to a 28-420mm lens in 35mm format), crisp images are possible in both wide angle and telephoto. The Pro815's 4x digital zoom allows for a combined zoom of 60x.

Samsung Introduces 6-Megapixel V6

Samsung Camera has launched the Digimax V6, a 6-megapixel digital camera — the latest addition to its Digimax V Series of compact digital cameras.

The V6 offers a number of features, including Schneider optics, support for nine different power sources, three customizable profile settings and a super macro feature that lets the photographer shoot subjects as close as six centimeters in manual mode. Also included are 12x zoom (3x optical, 4x digital), auto and manual shooting modes, and the ability to record up to two hours of audio.
