With the Z10000, Panasonic has released a high-end, 2D/3D, dual-lens camcorder. The Z10000 also comes with three control rings, dual XLR audio inputs and full manual controls.

Both lenses have a 3MOS sensor (with an effective pixel count of 6.57 megapixels each), which, when used with the 3D video macro setting, records at approximately 17.8 inches.

Key features of Panasonic’s new Lumix DMC-FZ150 consumer camera include full-HD video, 24x optical zoom and a 25mm ultra-wide-angle lens.

With a 12.1-megapixel MOS sensor, the FZ150 has been upgraded from the previous FZ47 to shoot full 1920 x 1080, 60p HD video. While filming, users can also adjust the zoom and take stills.

Additionally, the FZ150 nano-surface coating technology helps minimize light reflection that causes ghost and flare. The latest in Panasonic's compact interchangeable lens camera line is the Lumix DMC-G3. Released just about a year after its predecessor, the G2, this new model touts an upgrade in image resolution (16 megapixels instead of 12) and ISO sensitivity; the G3 contains a Venus Engine FHD and is advertised to suppress granular distortion by 66 percent when using high ISO speeds.

Even without the accompanying camera body, Panasonic has begun development on “the world’s first interchangeable 3D lens.”

The company’s “twin lens” is scheduled to be released this year, and will eventually be developed to work with the Lumix G Micro System line.

This 3D lens will feature two optical systems installed within the diameter of the lens mount, creating stereoscopic images from the left and right lenses that will then be viewable with any 3D-image processing system.
