Canon is releasing a second-generation EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM professional telephoto lens. With increased durability and image stabilization, the new EF lens has also reduced the minimum focal range from 4.6 to 3.9 feet, allowing users to get even closer to their subjects.

The EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM lens comes with a detachable tripod collar, a reversible bayonet mount lens hood and a lens pouch. The new lens will be available in April; price to be announced.
