San Francisco-based photographer Mel Lindstrom was awarded a total of 47 creative awards last year. The accolades include eight International Black & White Spider Awards; two APA Something Personal Selects; nine MarCom Awards; three Silver Winners from Create magazine; four Silver Davey Awards; six International Aperture Awards; two Addy Awards; five Hermes Creative Awards; and a number of others.

Lindstrom teaches photography at the Academy of Art in San Francisco and at San Jose State. He is also the founder of MStock Conceptual Photography.
