Profoto, Phase One and Mamiya have joined forces to engineer the V-Grip Air, a vertical grip for use with Phase One and Mamiya medium-format cameras.

The first vertical grip with a built-in wireless flash trigger, the V-Grip Air enables synch speeds of up to 1/1,600 second and features all the same camera controls and functionality as 645DF cameras. Using Profoto’s built-in flash technology, users can trigger a flash wirelessly from the V-Grip Air.

The Phase One/Mamiya V-Grip Air is available for $1,290, and the L-bracket/hand strap stand-alone package is $299. The Profoto transceiver is available for $199.
