Canon has released a line of new hot shoe and battery accessories designed for its recently upgraded pro and midrange cameras.

The Speedlite 600EX-RT, Canon's first flash unit with built-in wireless radio connectivity, replaces the Speedlite 580EX II. It can be used with Canon's new ST-E3-RT radio-frequency wireless Speedlite transmitter and can be positioned up to 30 meters away and has a bounce-and-swivel head with zoom correction.

Along with the new flash, which retails for $629, Canon debuted a BG-E11 battery grip ($349), a WFT-E7 wireless file transmitter (price TBA) and a GP-E2 GPS receiver ($390). The new battery grip has double the battery life as its predecessor, while the wireless transmitter offers transfer speeds of up to 150mbps, as well as Bluetooth, GPS and FTP transfer capabilities.

The GP-E2 GPS receiver is compatible with EOS-1D X, EOS 7D and the new EOS 5D Mark III, and features a logging function that tracks information automatically.
