Leica V-LUX 30 Leica V-LUX 30
megapixel camera with 16x optical zoom — available for both still and video mode — Leica's latest camera has also jumped on the bandwagon of trendy new camera features.

For instance, the camera includes 3D mode (it takes 20 frames and merges the two that create the best 3D image); GPS and geotagging (a feature that is supplemented with 1,000,000 “points of interest” that can guide users to suggested picture-taking locations); and 1080i-AVCHD Full HD video recording.

The V-LUX 30 has a 3-inch LCD screen that displays high-quality images, but not 3D images. Users will need to view their multidimensional images on a 3D TV.

Users can shoot in continuous burst mode and capture 10 frames per second (fps), or 60 fps with reduced resolution. Both of these burst modes come in handy when shooting for 3D compositions.

Leica's V-LUX 30 hit the markets in June for $750.
