With 64GB of internal flash memory and an external SDXC memory card reader, Canon’s Vixia HF M32 Dual Flash Memory camcorder can store up to two terabytes of memory.
With the internal Flash alone, the camcorder can record up to 24 hours of HD video. Once memory cards are added, the device is enhanced not just with the storage capacity, but with increased data-transfer speeds.
This model possesses many of the features found in its predecessor’s line, including a genuine HD video lens, HD CMOS image sensor, DIGIC DV II image processor and touch-panel LCD screen. Notable shooting features include smart auto mode; touch-and-track mode to detect and autofocus faces and objects; relay recording to switch automatically from one storage device to the other; and SuperRange optical image stabilization.
The Vixia HF M32 is also compatible with Eye-Fi SD memory cards for wireless video transfer and can be used with Canon’s WP-V2 waterproof case to shoot HD footage underwater at depths of up to 130 feet.
The Vixia HF M32 Dual Flash Memory camcorder has an estimated retail price of $999, and the WP-V2 waterproof case retails for $599.
