Rololight has released the Softbox System, its newest continuous fluorescent lighting system. The Softbox was designed to be a modular lighting system with detachable individual light strips.

For ease of transport, the whole lighting system weighs less than 10 pounds and can be rolled up to fit into a travel bag. Each light strip has its own built-in ballast, a protected tube that draws only 0.02 amps and a service life of up to 20,000 hours.

The Softbox System is ideal for drama, documentary, studio, corporate, film and still work. The Softbox is available in two kit types: the Pro-Kit, consisting of eight light-strips; and the Starter-Kit, consisting of four. Each kit is available in a choice of three lengths: 12-inch, 15-inch and 25-inch. A range of tubes and Soft Egg Crates are also available for further effects.
